School-wide student teaming with intentional student placement (adult advocate for each student)
Unstructured outdoor time/recess
Band, Orchestra, Chorus classes meet on a daily basis (not gen. music)
4^th & 5^th look similar; 6^th & 7^th look similar
A variety of special area offerings to provide students choice that meets their developmental needs
Intervention that does not pull from specials
Scheduled integrated technology classes in a lab and flexible tech labs or modular labs for use in the classroom
Non-core teachers assigned to the core teaching teams
Wellness classes for the upper level grades
Special classes every day for every child
Ability grouping for language arts and math in 4^th and 5^th; ability grouping in all core subjects in 7^th and 8^th
4^th grade - 2 teachers per team
5^th and 6^th grade - 3 or 4 teachers per team
7th grade - Teachers are content specialists

Students will...
